Founder of BG Designs, Albert G. started out in the Mid 90’s after graduation from Design College with a Diploma in Graphic art. He went on to become a freelance designer and worked across many industries to see which one would make the future endeavour. After 5 years he found the packaging industry a viable and interesting path, designing products from the food industry right through to cosmetic and Pharmaceutical. Leaning more onto the display and point of sale work, that became our main focus which then led us the 3D world of Exhibitions and high end structures for all kinds of real life display work. As our company grew we needed to become more self sufficient. So went went down the path and installed our own CNC machines and became more than the designers we became a one stop shop, producing the final product from start to finish. As industries took new directions with the expansion of free trade, local work starting shifting overseas. We needed to adapt to our ever changing environment, we shifted our focus to other industries. Marine, mechanical and custom part design services became our main line of work, assisting in development of specialised performance boats and all types of unique builds needed for local manufacturers. New software and basic mechanical engineering education was needed for our progress into deeper CAD. That gave us a leading edge into design and pattern making for composites, injected moulds, forge presses and complex machining processes. In 2016 was the birth of BG Designs, the realisation that our journey had taken us into our own unique service. We have built something that stands on its own, the experience of knowing how things are made gives us the leading edge. We can go from an idea, a sketch, 3D scan or actual part and bring it to life not only physically but in the digital world, animations, real life renders for marketing and advertising needs, all before or while your project is in production.

When it comes to sensitive files like what we create or the services we provide it is the clients IP (intellectual property) and the safety of the data to us is important. We do not use Cloud services or any AI engines. Those services go hand in hand with data theft. AI cannot work without reference, so the only way is to access pieces of someones hard work usually stored on Cloud storage systems or unprotected hardware. Our work is stored on 256bit encrypted drives behind several firewalls on our premises, even though once we have delivered that data to you it is not our responsibility, keeping our data safe is. When projects are finished, we deliver files and data through DropBox or WeTransfer and they only stay there for 7 days.
